A number of emails are currently being circulated using the Big Lottery Fund name to tell people that they have won money. Another version uses the Olympic Lottery’s name. The best thing you can do is delete them and tell your friends and colleagues to do the same. These emails are hoaxes and should be ignored. We have spoken to the Metropolitan Police about these emails.
The Big Lottery Fund does not give away prize money: we hand out the money raised by the UK National Lottery to good causes in the UK and abroad. We only give grants to people and organisations who have applied to us.
