The aim of Healthy Living Centres was to promote good health in its broadest sense, to reduce health inequalities and to improve the health of the most disadvantaged sections of the population. 350 healthy living centres have been funded across the UK. These are providing a great variety of activities and services for a very wide range of people, from children to the elderly.
