Big Lottery Fund (BIG), has teamed up with communications charity Media Trust and online regional news networks Thisis and localpeople to launch Communities in Focus - a photo competition that will showcase what people love about their communities.
There will be a special category for photos that show projects funded by Big Lottery Fund in England making a positive difference to people and communities.
Photos of any of the tens of thousands of BIG-funded projects in England are eligible, from respite schemes for carers, projects helping people with disabilities or illness, youth and family support projects, to the thousands of BIG-funded parks and public spaces across the country.
There are some great prizes up for grabs, including a Canon DSLR camera and photography training, and the winner will also see their photograph showcased on Thisis and localpeople websites.
