Funding advisers provide a wide range of advice and development support to help voluntary and community sector groups to make applications, including to the Big Lottery Fund.
We were interested to find out more about the role of funding advisers in supporting groups in England to apply to us, including how they go about their work, what difference they make to applications, and how we could improve this important relationship.
In September 2010, we commissioned Ecorys to undertake a study to look at these and similar questions in order to help us to consider how best to support applicants to our funding programmes.
